  • Exceedingly happy with this purchase. Easily some of the better I've ever had, and I'm not new to mushrooms at all. I did 4 grams, ground and into capsules. The onset was fast, 40 minutes and with very little progression, from nothing, to time dilation of an intensity that's hard to describe. Visuals were excellent, more intense and bright than many other trips I've had with even higher doses. Trip lasted 4.5 hours. Only the final 45 minutes were without the intense time dilation. Kicked in super quick, and like a shotgun, they snuck up on me in the best possible way. Would absolutely recommend the Melmacs, if you're experienced. Just be careful about your dose. I typically do a heroic dose and then some, but decided to ease in a little, and am glad that I did. Had so many profound moments, and these amazingly clear moments of pure lucidity, such strong waves that hit again and again. Visuals 5/5 Duration 4/5 Intensity 5/5 I also noticed that these were much, much easier on my stomach than many orher mushrooms I've had. Maybe it was just coincidence, but I have always had a bit of a touchy stomach for mushrooms, and these didn't bother me ar all.

Can I get my order delivered?

Yes. Every order ships to your door with a tracking number, in plain, unmarked packaging. Delivery takes 2 to 5 days, wherever you live in the country.

Can dried magic mushrooms be used as therapy?

Not as anything we can offer. Researchers are studying psilocybin for mental health conditions, and some early trials look promising, but Health Canada states that no therapeutic product containing it is approved in Canada or anywhere else. None of that research used our mushrooms. If your health is the reason you are asking, talk to a doctor first.

Are dried shrooms risky for my health?

They carry real risks. The dose decides most of them. Health Canada lists anxiety, fear, nausea, muscle twitches, a faster heart rate and higher blood pressure, with a bad trip more likely at high doses. The risk is higher for anyone with, or prone to, a psychiatric condition, and for anyone with heart disease.

How do I take dried magic mushrooms?

Most people use one of three ways. Whichever you pick, effects usually begin within 15 to 45 minutes, according to Health Canada.

  • Eat them as they are. Chew well and swallow. It is the simplest way, and the taste is earthy, so a piece of fruit afterwards helps.
  • Lemon tek. Grind the dose, soak it in lemon juice for up to 20 minutes, then stir it into a glass of water and drink it. People report a faster and shorter come up this way, so take less than your usual amount the first time.
  • Tea. Chop or grind the dose and steep it in hot water, just off the boil, for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain it, add honey or a tea bag for the taste, and drink it.
How much should I take?

Less than you think, the first time. Weigh every dose on a scale that reads to 0.1 g, because strains differ in strength and a few pieces can weigh more than they look. The six doses higher up this page come from our dosing guide, gram by gram: first timers start at the low end and only go higher on another day.

Body weight, mood and how your week has gone all change how a dose lands. Once you know your strain, the 28 g pouch is the bigger buy.

What are the effects of dried magic mushrooms?

They change with the dose, the strain and the person. Health Canada describes heightened emotions and senses, laughing a lot, feeling happy and creative, a changed sense of time, and seeing or hearing things that are not there. The harder side shows up mostly at high doses: anxiety, paranoia and a bad trip.

What does set and setting mean?

Set is your state of mind going in. Setting is the place you are in and the people around you. Both shape how a trip goes, so pick a day when you feel steady, a place that feels safe and company you trust, with one person staying sober.

Can I mix them with alcohol or other drugs?

We say no. Health Canada says that combining magic mushrooms with cannabis, amphetamines, alcohol or other substances makes serious side effects more likely. Keep the day to the mushrooms and a bottle of water.

Does psilocybin interact with medications?

Yes. Some medicines should never be mixed with it at all. Lithium, antidepressants and tramadol are among them, and our dosing guide lists each one with its source. If you take any prescription, ask your doctor or pharmacist before you take mushrooms.

How long do magic mushrooms stay in my system?

The effects usually last four to six hours, Health Canada says. Whether a drug test picks them up afterwards depends on the test; our FAQ explains what the standard ones look for. If a test matters to you, find out what it screens for before you take anything.

How often can I take them?

Leave at least a week or two between trips. Regular use builds tolerance over a few days, according to Health Canada, so a trip soon after the last one does less and costs you more mushrooms.

How long do dried mushrooms keep, and how should I store them?

Stored well, they keep for months. Use an airtight container somewhere cool, dry and dark, and close the pouch between doses. Damp is what spoils dried mushrooms fastest, so keep them away from the kettle and the bathroom.

How do I know if dried shrooms have gone bad?

Look at them and smell them before every dose. Throw them out if you find any of these:

  • A sour or musty smell
  • Mould or fuzzy growth
  • Soft, damp or dark spots

When in doubt, throw it out.

Can I build a tolerance or get addicted?

Tolerance, yes. Addiction is unlikely: Health Canada reports little evidence that people become physically or psychologically dependent on magic mushrooms. Tolerance builds fast, though, which is why we suggest a week or two between trips.
