How much is a microdose?

- One day on, two days off. Dose on day one, skip days two and three, then repeat.
- Four days on, three days off. Dose Monday to Thursday and rest over the weekend.
Use the days off to notice how you feel. A short note each evening makes the pattern easy to see.
What time of day should I take my microdose?
Most people take it in the morning, so any effect falls in the waking day and stays clear of sleep. People report that it arrives sooner on an empty stomach.

Are shroom capsules safe?
No psychedelic is free of risk. A measured capsule keeps the amount small and the same every time, which takes away the guesswork that leads people to take too much. Health Canada lists the risks of magic mushrooms, from anxiety and nausea to a faster heart rate, and they grow with the dose.
Who shouldn't microdose?
Anyone under 19, since we only sell to adults. Health Canada also notes a higher risk of side effects for people with a heart condition and for people with, or prone to, a psychiatric condition. Talk to a doctor first if either fits you.
What if I'm pregnant?
Then we suggest you wait. Health Canada's page on magic mushrooms does not cover pregnancy or breastfeeding, and we know of no safety data for a microdose in either. Speak to your doctor.
Can I take magic mushroom capsules with other drugs?
Keep your microdose days free of alcohol and other drugs. Health Canada says that combining magic mushrooms with substances like cannabis or amphetamines makes serious side effects more likely.
Does psilocybin interact with any medications?
Some medicines should never be mixed with it, lithium, antidepressants and tramadol among them. Our dosing guide lists them with their sources. A small dose does not make a risky mix safe, so check with your doctor or pharmacist before your first capsule.
Are there any adverse effects of microdosing shroom pills?
At a true microdose, most people report noticing very little. Take too much and you are no longer microdosing: Health Canada lists anxiety, fear, nausea, muscle twitches and a faster heart rate among the effects of magic mushrooms.
Are there any risks to microdosing magic mushrooms?
Yes. The risks are those of any magic mushroom, kept small by the dose: an uneasy day, nausea, or more effect than you wanted if a dose turns out bigger than you thought. Start low, keep your days off and stop if a dose day feels wrong.
Are the shrooms in a microdose addictive?
Dependence is unlikely. Health Canada reports little evidence that people become physically or psychologically dependent on magic mushrooms. Tolerance is the thing to watch, which is why every microdose plan has days off.
How can I avoid any negative effects of microdosing magic mushrooms?
Start with the smallest amount, one capsule or one gummy, and stay there for the first week. Keep your dose days free of alcohol, check any medicine against the dosing guide and take your days off. If a dose ever brings visuals, go lower next time.
