How Microdosing Teaches Presence
From Productivity to Presence
It’s a Thursday evening and the world is rushing. Emails still piling up, dinner half-made, my mind already sprinting into tomorrow. I swallow a microdose, half-distracted, out of habit — and then pause.
Because I know how easily I could miss it.
It’s tempting to treat microdosing like a tool, a quiet machine working in the background to make me better, sharper, faster. But the longer I’ve walked this path, the clearer it’s become: microdosing isn’t a performance enhancer. It’s an invitation.
It doesn’t want me to do more.
It wants me to notice more.
That’s where the real magic lives — not in the capsule, but in what I choose to do with the subtle shifts it stirs.
And what I’ve learned, both in myself and with the people I support, is this:
integration doesn’t just happen after the journey.
It can be woven in real time — moment by moment — if you’re willing to be present enough to catch it.
